International Missions

Southern Baptists send IMB missionaries to be steadfastly present among those who have never heard the gospel — people in cities, people in hard-to-reach places, and people who are dispersed and displaced around the world.  God has made our purpose clear. Together, we seek to take the gospel to every nation, all tribes and peoples and languages. We give ourselves to this mission every day.

North American Missions

We can rewrite that story; we can change the statistics when everyday people get up, step out in faith and use their lives on mission for God. But this isn’t just the North American Mission Board’s story or even the Southern Baptist Convention’s story. This is God’s story. This is your church’s story. This is your story, and our goal is to help you find your role in that story and equip you to fill it until we see every Christian—every church on mission—sending the hope of the gospel across North America.  Because, bottom line, everything we do...It's all about the gospel.

Lottie Moon

What is the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering?

Lottie Moon was sent as a Southern Baptist missionary to China from 1873 to 1912. She saw firsthand the world’s greatest problem — LOSTNESS. Meeting so many people who had never heard the gospel compelled her to write letters to American churches describing the need for a greater missionary presence.

She pleaded for increased prayer and financial support to send and sustain more missionaries. This challenge became known as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering®.

Annie Armstrong

What is the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering?

The offering was started in 1895 by Woman's Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). In 1934, it was named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a bold missions advocate and WMU's first national executive leader. Today, more than $2 billion has been donated by Southern Baptist churches and individuals to support thousands of missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries. Because of this sacrificial giving, millions of lives have been and continue to be transformed by the power of the gospel.

Child Evangelism Fellowship

we're here for you

The vision to take the gospel to the children of the world began in the mid-1930's when Rev. Jesse Overholzer read a sermon by Charles Haddon Spurgeon.  Spurgeon said, "A child of five, if properly instructed, can as readily believe and be regenerated as an adult." Those words (and the words of Jesus, "...it is not the will of my Father...that one of these little ones should perish..." Mathew 18:14) gripped Mr. O's heart and mind, and by the end of 2023, 378,221,543 children - 150 countries have heard the gospel through Child Evangelism Fellowship.
